I have to talk POLISH!

Our polish hens are our sweetest birds. Our polish roo decided that he was going to start challenging hubby. After trying all suggestions, he got fed up, went out there and put one arm down like a wing and stomped in a circle. (I should have recorded it!) The roo watched for a minute, then ran for the coop. Now all hubby has to do is put his arm out a bit and start to lean to that side and the roo makes a hasty retreat. He's definitely deferring to the "big roo".
pretty funny I'll have to bookmark this in my brain so I can remember. Right now my rooster are just teens.

Polish are deffently different breeds of chickens to have for sure.. but all my polish hens are sweet hearts... one of them will perch on my foot and sit there while i walk around.. and for you having trouble with your rooster.. honestly.. once they turn you can turn them back to be sweet hearts. its in there breeding if some were down the line had an agressive breeder they will carry the trait.. you just have to stand up to them.. my rooster still charges me but not always cause i show him i'm more dominant then him, but the main time he charges me now is only if i pet or try to pick up one of his girls. exspecialy the silverlace hen that loves me and fallows and sits on my foot, since that is his #1 girl.. sonme times i feel like doing out there and cutting his head off but i wont since i'm a breeder of polish

It's been raining and thunderstorming every day for weeks now so the first sign of sunshine they picked and spot and all layed out in a heap.

We're in WI, it gets extremely cold. My polish do great. I do make sure their crests stay dry, and check on their feet nightly when I close the coop doors. I make sure they don't go to bed with ice/snow on their toes. But I do that for all of my birds. They do go outside daily in a covered run no matter what the weather.

I have a question about my polish rooster that was born back in march this year. He is a beautiful bird. My question is do you call him 1) a red crested red
2) a white crested red
3) red crested black tailed red
4) a white crested black tailed red
5) your answer

Description of my rooster:
( I can not get a pic to upload of him)
A beautiful red body with red chest. He has a black/Beatle green tail. And his crest is what really confuses me. It came in all red but around the time he started to crow a white crest feather piped up then another and another and now he is a lovely 50/50 mix of red and white crest head feathers on a red body with a Beatle green/black tail.

Thanks in advance for you opinions on what you call his color!!! :)

This after noon I come out to feed and water and noticed her feathers were coming out of her head she is about 3 months ofd is this normal?? It now looks like lil rubbed things on her head in between what's left of her feathers???

there are white crested reds and there are red crested reds, they both have black tails so he is eater a red crested red that has been peck on and the feathers have grown back in white or or he is a white crested red. imo
