I have to talk POLISH!

Hello! New chicken mama here and very excited to have my first two polish chicks. : ) One is a buff laced, but I can't seem to figure out what the other one is!! I have been searching the internet and can't find a chick photo like this one. She (well hopefully a she) has chipmunk markings, and at 2 ½ weeks old its wing feathers are really starting to show a pattern but it doesn't quite look like "lacing" to me. Any ideas?? Thanks so much for your help!!!!

Looks creole to me?I don't know of any other color that is barred and not laced? But only have personal XP with Gold Laced and Tolbunt so can't say that with 100% certainty

Thanks! Upon googling you guys may be right, had never heard of that variety, would love it if it did turn out candy corn--or crele maybe, that above rooster has some barring that reminds me of it a bit. My husband brought them home from a feed store in Denver and couldn't remember what color he was told they were. : ) They are from a smaller local hatchery but still, I'm wondering if this one didn't kind of accidentally get thrown in the pile with the buff laced, or maybe it's just kind of a mixed something. I'll post again as he or she feathers out we'll see!!!

If that's what they are, you're lucky I can't get my hands on candy corn for anything ..they are made using the creole somehow, I'm thinking Tolbunt and maybe a white crested something or other? Take lots of pics, they will change a lot between now and adults ♡♡

She's a tricky one..She's looks girly to me, but her crest reminds me of my roo at the same time.. That look in its eyes in the first pic is the same eyeball I get when my Red roo is in a 'mood"

Ha! She's kind of flighty, and whenever I pick her up, she just sort of stares at me like "really?" until I put her down. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. The suspense is killing me!
