She does look like big bird doesn't she lol silkie cross is what I was thinking too,I'll have to get a decent photo of her out an about i noticed today some of her tail feathers are black laced as well

This is her yest, she's not as bright as big bird in real life lol she's a bit duller than that still a lovely light golden colour though

She has a very nice Crest even though she is crossed. With that crest she is more likely at least 75% polish. Very Beautiful!

Aw thank you Marthab1953! May be a silly question but will she change much as she gets older looks wise? She's only 15wks and we've never had one so young before.

I have 2 mottled Houdan roos that are loose in my yard. They follow me around like puppy dogs. My main flock and roo keep them at a distance.

I'm so glad I found this thread, wonder if anyone could help, I was at an auction yest and my mum fell in love with a little polish pullet so I got her and told her that was her xmas pressie sorted

lol. The polish aren't a breed I'm familiar with so as you do I got home and started doing some research and now I'm not sure she's actually 100% a polish I read so many "breed standard" things last night it's ridiculous I will try and post a pic soon can't seem to do it off the iPad properly the 2 main things for me are her colour and the fact she has feathers on her feet and I think I read somewhere polish don't ??

She may be blended with a Sultan (?)

You are welcome! I really do think she is beautiful, I like her.

I don't think she will change in her looks much at all!
I would like to see some pictures in the next few months to see what she looks like.

Thank you for that flower! I will deff get you all some more pictures as she grows up, she has now be christened Flo hehe and is currently living with fluffy one of the other hens I had to seperate as she was being badly bullied it was a rocky first day or 2 but I went up to check on them tonight and they're both cuddled up in the same side of the nest box. Awwww!!
