I have to talk POLISH!

what color are those they are pretty
They are from my Crele Laced project, but some recessive colors still pop up such as the Black Barred and the Red Columbian (pictured). A couple of the pictures are of Crele Laced chicks but the lacing is not crisp yet. The lacing gets nice around 3-5 months.

Here is what the crele laced looks like when grown in.

I'm new to the Polish world and to the chicken world as well. My hubby and I got 6 Golden Comets that are 3 weeks old, hoping to get some laying hens from the bunch. Now my hubby happened to see some Polish chicken photos while I was browsing through the chicken breeds and has decided he wants to get a couple. My concern is will I have to put the Polish in their own coop and run or will they be able to go in with the Golden Comets?

these 2 polish cockerels love each other VERY much,if they get separated, the flip out.is that normal??
I think I have 2 Houdan roos like that. They are never apart.
And my 2 silkie roos I had a few years ago would have been upset, it was them and one hen and they were very happy together.
It's not normal. But I guess it happens

Non crested breeds sometimes pick at the crest feathers of the Polish. I keep some of my bantam buff laced Polish roosters in with my flock of Ameraucanas and Wyandottes and they do not get picked on, but I would not trust the LF with my bantam Polish pullets. They are too docile and have limited vision due to their large crests. I don't have LF Polish so I don't know how they would do.

Look what I got today. Meet Einstein. I hope he will go good with my girls from a few pages back. The guy at the feed store says I have the luck... I buy strait run and wind up with all pullets. ...knock on wood. Of course I have a 3 week old Cochin out of a pullet order that I may have the 1% mistake in sexing them. I'm still up in the air on.

Einstein:

Za Za had to check him out. In a few weeks I think he will be a handsome boy. He was in a small cage with a bunch of other birds. So he is a tad bit messy.

I have my two month old chicks all mixed together now with no problem, but I had to separate them when the crest feathers started coming in because they were getting plucked balled. Once the feathers came in I put them back and have had no problem.

Beautiful birds!
