We're working on it, so far just the one Talbunt and a couple of Crele.Quote: I don't thinks so but i wish!!! i would love some but have not found any close yet.
7 weeks now. I would love if they were. Do you think behaviour is important? The buff laced one (one with the best lacing) and a frizzle EE I have had their collars ruffled out and were charging at each other the other day. I am definately keeping 1, 2 and 5. do you think these are the best examples of the breed?I agree. They all look like pullets. How old are they?
My young Pullets will do the chest bumping. At 7 weeks I would watch for Them to grow pointy feathers in there hackles and saddle. Cockrels get wattles faster and they are bigger and redder than that of a pullet. Their crest feathers are a big sign too. The pullet will have a round mushroom look. The cockrels have a wild Einstine look to them and they will have pointy feathers in their crest as well. As to judging their type I'm not qualified for that. I'm realitly knew to the breed and have just figured out how to tell the gender. I do think as chicks the pullets get their tail feathers first. So that's what I look for. They are very pretty. I don't have a buff laced and would like to get one some time.7 weeks now. I would love if they were. Do you think behaviour is important? I have acquired a Polish pair that are about a year old. They look pretty rough after having spent their life in a small chicken tractor, but they should look better soon with some TLC. I have them In the isolation pen right now and am trying to decide where to put them once I'm sure they are healthy. They are LF, and I would like to put them in the teenage pen with my others who are a bit younger. . There are two Bantam Cochin cockerels in there along with a couple EEs. The Cochins are not aggressive, and so far the Polish doesn't seem to be either. Is this a good idea, or a recipe for disaster? Thanks!
x2I think they both look like girls. Can't see any boy anywhere.
girl. Have you spread the feathers on her back just above the tail to look for saddle feathers? If it is a roo, they will be coming in just about now.12 weeks , any guesses?
