I have to talk POLISH!

...but testicles in their arm pits??? That was coming from a man who was trying to sell me chicks that were clearly cockerels. I could tell the difference by just looking at their combs and wattles.

Yea I had a feeling about one of them but the other day I was feeding them tomatoes outside and I saw red in their combs and I saw waddles that like popped up over night. The only female is the one my hubby picked out and he only picked her cause she was white. He has been laughing at me since I noticed, and I've heard a told you so a few times..

The best determinant I have found is that the cockerels are typically more outgoing. The ones that investigate are guys, the ones that run and hide are females. This has been the most accurate method for me.

Our polish are so funny, one of them is ok with being held.. The other two figure out that we are around and run off.
The cant see if I pick them up from above them... Our silver is bearded.. Love her..

I got this guy about a month ago. He was in a very small cage with a buff hen. Both were pretty thin and had lots of feathers broken. His crest was nearly gone and so was his tail. Both are growing back now and I can't decide if he is considered a black tailed red, or gold laced. Opinions? Thanks!
