I don't know if I'd say they're really big, but they're bigger than some other breeds out there and good Polish are meatier and heavier than you'd think.
As for shipping, I always write LIVE EMBRYOS on my boxes. Keeps people guessing or thinking the wrong thing, thus making them more careful. The ladies working at my local PO thought I was literally shipping human embryos.![]()
As for distance, I've shipped to NJ with good fertility/hatch rate before, good and bad things can always happen, but the safe distance I'd say is stay on your side of the Miss. river or Rockies if you're too worried. Personally I like receiving eggs from wherever, because if I really want something I'll get it.![]()

As for the eggs, I usually write live embryos as well, and yes I've had on more than once occasion been asked about them being human embryos...I'm like REALLY!?! Like I would trust the post office with my own embryos? OMG lol
