I have to talk POLISH!

I finally got my little man! I hope he likes girls! Not a good pic, this is right after he arrived. But I'm just tickled to death to finally have a Tolbunt

My 7 year old took this picture to enter in a youth poultry show photo contest. Wanted to share

OMG......Thought it was a huge blooming flower at first glance. Absolutely beautiful!!

You need Illia for that answer. I just have a few Bantams and my 10 month old male is mating and I have an offspring. He is bearded and a frizzle. His comb looks full to me but honestly unless I make an inspection it is hard to see,

He and the mother have nice large crests. In fact I trimmed hers back a bit to help her see. I look at them carefully tomorrow.

Curious, who did you get him from?

New chickies. This second batch is all from the Tolbunt projects running here but as obviously seen in this little "sample" there's a lot of culls. Every single one of these chicks is a cull, although I might keep the mottled one to see how it grows to look. (second from left) By cull I mean sold.

This is my first batch, a little sample of quite a few Tolbunts and near Tolbunts.

Some mottleds. They might have leakage and might look like Tolbunt when mature to the untrained eye but aren't.

This is how feathered out the first batch is now. Although he looks like a silver laced, this here is a sex-linked male, he's Tolbunt except not. He carries one silver gene, so he'll be a pretty "golden" Tolbunt. So, not really a Tolbunt but close and abled.

Lacing so far. Nice wings, the shoulders are iffy but he's very young, lacing is never fully judge-worthy until they're over 2 months old.

And, last to show -

The latest cockerel that went to freezer camp. This here is a terrible looking Polish.

In a way he is also very handsome though.

Illia, thankyou for posting all those pics.

This was a roo that klf73 had offered me as a cull. Cull or not, I am tickled to death to have him! I'm not planning to do anything with him except have a little fun with what hatches. I won't forget her generosity.
