Yep! Peanut is for sure a girl...and she is seeking fame and fortune at the county fair. She has grown out of her chicken uglies! Unfortunately she is the ONLY polish entered in exhibition, but she is certainly drawing attention from fair goers!

My daughter took 2nd in Novice and independent poultry showmanship using Peanut. Peanut took 2nd in the Clean legged bantams, All other combs division. Not too shabby. Our other birds did quite well too. A silkie of ours took first in the feather legged bantams, our bantam cochin took 4th in the same division, our phoenix pullet took first in Clean legged bantams, single comb, and our orpingtons took 2nd and 4th in heavyweight poultry. Oh and my turkey took 1st for young hens.
