Well, Marshmallow was reunited with his flock after about a day and a half or so of separation while I moved brooders around. Brought the four girls I was pretty sure of down to a bigger brooder, left Ruby and Marshmallow together in a small brooder, and the three Bieles.
After getting some more feedback that Ruby may in fact be a pullet, and not seeing her comb reddening up too much as of yet, I decided to put her in with the other girls yesterday, and Marshmallow spent the day with the Bieles while I cleaned out one of the brooders.

The girls all got a little grass time, before I finally brought Marshmallow back down with his main girls. I have no idea if the temporary separation may help him settle down a bit or not, but that's just what happened as I juggled chickens! Lol
DH has again said he doesn't mind having a rooster, and it's been hard for me to really picture breaking up this little mini flock. I feel like the Bieles are really popular right now, too, so that should be a super nice way for my brother to get started!

They all settled in easily for the night, and I just hope I don't keep getting thrown more curve balls here. The sooner I can get these birds moved outside, the sooner Marshmallow can also start to be raised by the bigger girls, which I'm hoping will help him grow into a balanced, well-mannered, easy enough to handle kind of guy.
