I hope it wasn't because of me

I don't think that it is anything you did, sometimes birds do get sick and die. In the future, if a bird gets sick, get her out of your coop/run and away from your other birds, hopefully to prevent the spreading to the other birds.

Sometimes birds just die. I think you did fine. I would not use any cleaner other than a broom.

Thank you all for your help. Biggins and medium and are still happy and healthy and got a nice blend of kale, garlic, tomatoes, cumin and pellets this morning. BYC is the best support group. Thanks all even for just the condolences. They're birds but their life is just as important to me as my dogs and cats!

I'm feeding dumor poultry feed. 15% grower/finisher/egg production. They'll get about 3/4 cups in the morning and night of that. Forage in the mud and get snacks like I said. Crushed shells, vegetable clippings, nuts, berries. There's only 2 girls now. Thank you for your condolences, I'm probably over thinking but I'm worried more than ever. Do you think there warm enough in there?
To keep the girls warm all they need is food, protection from the wind, and proper ventilation. They are birds, they handle the cold better then you and I.
