Hahahaha, I read my first post about expecting 2-3 chicks...

What was I thinking?

I read about another member getting one chick out of 12 eggs so I figured 1 chick per dozen...

Boy was I ever wrong!!!

I've got this picture in my head of a crowd of BYC hatching junkies crowded around the egg cooler at their nearest TJ store ......... waiting for the next load of fresh eggs to be stocked ......... pushing and shoving to get that most recently dated carton ......... feverishly reading code dates and throwing the older dated cartons over their shoulders to grab a fresher one

Wow!! and she only expected 2 or 3.....we better see some give aways here!!! I totally want to go down the road to the other people that sell their eggs just to see what I get!! OMG I can't wait til one of my girls goes broody.........I am soooooooooo down the road!! I know what I have here, and am def. "planting" some cochin eggs, however, I love a mystery, and will try to slip in as many as possible.............pancake did 24...............

Well I have 27 chicks so far and 4 more working on hatching...

I will post pics soon. And I will have a chick cam online so you can see the babies.

I am exhausted

from all the stress of this. I have to get to bed early tonite but I have a feeling that 27 peeping babies in the living room are gonna wake me up at nite...
