They are adorable! I can't wait to start seeing pips!!!! BTW, I love my Brinsea incubator. I have only had chickens for a year, and bought my Brinsea bator last year. I am so glad I did, it is almost fool proof, if you read and follow. I want to get another one, don't have the $$ for one right now. I will wait. I thought about a Little Giant since way soo much cheaper, but I have read so many negatives, and I work and for the most part cant make it home even at lunch time, so the Little Giant isn't for me. My opinion, if you have the money, get a Brinsea. It's defnitely a lot less stressful on you when you are trying to hatch some babies!

Two of my lavender/blue orpington eggs have pipped so far. I can see the beak sticking out of one of them and it keeps chirping. I can't wait! :)

I woke up to two Orpingtons hatching and two of the Sussex eggs have pipped. It looks like one lavender and one blue orpington so far. I can't wait to see the rest!

love the pics! We are at day 19 and I've got a big fat nothing happening here!

Oh no. Don't give up on day19, may be a delayed hatch. Mine should of be hatching today, but had I four early birds. I don't thing the rest will hatch, but I'll wait an extra day.

Hello,

I woke up to seven babies this AM....3 ameracaunas, 3 buckeyes, and a java:) They are so cute. And I have two more pipping as we speak. They are very crowded in the incubator though. I want to take them out but everything I have read says leave them in there for 24 hrs. They would have so much more room in their brooder. Do you guys leave them in?

Thanks

This is what I was just wondering about. I want to take them out because they're crashing around and chirping so pitifully. They need to be loved on! lol I don't want to take them out before I should, though.
