SHE JUST DRANK!!! We are SOOO happy! She is also beginning to show interest in her food on her own without us putting a bowl up her nose.

We are beginning to think that she is a Maran/Barred Rock cross. Anyway, I was just bustin' to share! Tomorrow morning we are going back to the feed store to pay for Tiramisu and also to pick up the BO, who is now named Buttercup.

That's great. TWO NEW BIRDS! I bet someone just dropped them off at the feed store to get rid of them, and the feed store just took them. I still say your girl is a california grey. Slender body, white ear patch, white legs.

Re yogurt....Read the labels. Look for "active cultures", or acidophilus. If the fruit types have that then fine. They also have a lot of sugar as well, which I don't like. I just add my own fruit to plain.

As for the yogurt, "Yoplait" also lists live and active cultures on the container.

Most Grocery stores have a store brand plain yogurt with active cultures.

Yes, we have Mountain High Yogurt, which is an all-natural live active culture yogurt. We will mix it with her feed and see if she improves.
