Unless you are me.If you hatched them from eggs, the odds are pretty strongly against having that many be all roosters.
So they were straight run from TSC. That is the last time I’ll be doing that.Depends on where you got them. Some stores are rather well known for having mis-labelled bins of chicks (it's likely caused by carelessness, not deliberate mis-labelling).
Also, people who know what they're doing can reliably pick some of the females out of a bin of straight-run chicks of those breeds, thus leaving more males for someone else.

This. This is my luck. LolUnless you are me.
Few years ago I hatched a lot of chicks. My hatches were giving me 80% cockerels. As a test I gave some broody hens 7 eggs. All 7 hatched. All 7 were cockerels. I gave up hatching for a while.
I know it doesn't happen often, but it sure can!
That’s the only one with the shortie looking tail!I would hang on to yellow
I hatched out 12 RIR and ended up with 9 hatched.i ended up with 5 pullets and 4 roosters. They are on the verge of laying now and crowing. I'm waiting to see which rooster is the best the biggest and got the best traits. Because I plan on breeding down the track.the other 3 will go in the freezer. Sad but that's life.
