Very suburban area in South Flordia. my previous readings about this indicate that they do allow you don't raise chickens not all the commercial level obviously. But I haven't seen is the standards that they require. It's not like there's not chickens in the area I hear roosters all the time. I just want to make sure that we don't start collecting fines fees and penalties

If you call your local planning commission they can tell you what your laws and ordinances are and what you have to do to own chickens.

Some areas do not allow chickens. Some will but not allow a rooster. They may limit number of fowl. They may require an application or permit to own fowl on property. Sometimes they dictate type of structure and placement on the property. It’s different in every area. You can hear a rooster for miles, but that does not mean that anyone in the area can own one. Always check and always follow your laws and ordinances. This keeps you out of trouble.
