Chicken Confessional: I'm a little scared!

I say go for it! When I first brought my first 4 home I was both excited and thinking "what in the world did I just get myself into". It's been 9 months and even after a nasty run in with wet fowl pox and losing 2 of the original girls, I still do not regret getting them and am currently brooding 7 more chicks so the flock will be at a decent size as 2 is hardly a flock. Yes, there will be tough times but they joy they bring more than makes up for it!
