I know this isnt the most reson post but im soooo aorry about you ducks!

I have a indian runner duck female
. I would let her run around the yard for a bit every day and one day she got out of her brooder and was running around the yard I guess and when I went out to bring her in for the night (it was to cold for her to be outside alone and I had no other ducklings) I didnt find her so I started a bawling and crying and was looking everywhere and then found her lifless little body laying on the fround where my "bird" dog gets tyed up. So I was just guessing the dog got her, so.... I ran in the house saying "where is she (she being the dog) im gonna kill her" I wasnt gonna kill her but I did kick her a bit. I felt so bad, I felt it was my fault she was dead! But my mom also loved the duckling so she said she would let "me" buy some more. So now I have 6 ducklings on their way from metzer farms.

I fell in love with ducks only becuz of her, if it werent for alex (the duck) I wouldnt be in love with ducks so much.

Im so sorry pekinduck<3er about the duck, only time will heal, and the new ones will help a bit I promise.

I know exactly how you feel! Two ducks gone in 24 hours! One time I couldn't get my ducks in one night, too dark and a wind storm going on, I couldn't find my mallard Leia. I let my runners out and they led me right to her! So so so sorry! I'm glad you can get new buddies for you and trouble! Hope they arrive safely!

Your ducks are lucky to be pets. Many ducks are raised just to be food. Sometimes ducks get eaten by animals. Try not to be too sad.

My babies just came from Metzer's last week - Assorted Runners and a couple of Pekin girls (for my big drakes - someday).

Im getting 4 welsh harlequins 1 boy 3 girls and 2 rouen girls. Right now I have 8 ducks soon to be 6 a lady is taking two of my drakes as pets, and 6 little ducklings comings on wendsday they were shipped today! And 5 eggs in the bator. I got some eggs of ebay, I ordered 6 khaki campbell duck eggs, she sent one extra but it was cracked, then I found out that one was bad, and she sent me two chicken eggs! So by the end of next month if all these eggs hatch I will have 6 adult ducks 6 3 week old ducklings and 3 newly hatched khaki ducklings and two chicks which I am going to give to my mom. So all together I will have.... 15 ducks! But im only keeping the girl khakis and giving away whatever boys there are. I hope I atleased get 1 girl. So I can hatch her eggs and get some more girls. I cant wait!​
