well about 5 dog kennels "magically" appeeared on the porch today , i guess word traveled that i needed temporary housing i wish i knew who did this so i could thank them for their kindness and give them 1 1/2 dozen fresh eggs i have in the fridge

Thoughts and prayers! Praise for wonderful neighbors! I did have to smile that the broody didn't even get out of the box and rode in it with the eggs. There should be some kind of "broody award" for her!

i think so too ! PRAISE TO RACHEL she got a hard boiled egg and some clovers and she is still in her box sitting in a dog kennel , when i found her sitting in that converted cat litter box nest box just sitting their my hysterical crying turned to hysterical laughter ! she is such a sweet hen and i love her very much so her survival meant the world to me

Such a scary thing, glad you are safe and at lest have some safe animals. We had this happen in my area last year, we were on the edge of the destruction. I could not believe how close it came to our place and missed us. Prayers for you!

i am so sorry about your lost thats the one thing i alway worry about in bad weather, do you know if it was a tornado or mico burst ( very strong wind ) that hit in one place we had one last year and it just like a tornado but not? i am so sorry again about your chickens

we are leaning towards a tornado but the police said they would "investigate " but the roaring train noise kinda says it all
