I lost my mom

It hurts, I Know! I lost my mother to cancer 6 years ago and she had never been sick a day in her life, never drank or smoked. She went home to be with all her family that a preceeded her.

"Remember the good times and forget the bad. Share with your kids what a wonderful mother you had and all the things that made you happy that you did with her.

But the most important part is to remember the Happy Days not the sad or sickness days. Then it will get better

I am sorry for your lost, but it will get brighter if you remember the good stuff and not dwell on the bad or what could of been."

This was told to me by a very wise old Indian Woman that was a friend of the family. She too has since passed away.

My prayers are with you and your family.

My aunt died Friday morning, so I know what your going through right now. I saw this somewhere, I thought this was beautiful and share it with you.

Jesus called your name today, you turned and looked his way. You closed your eyes, & put your hand in his hand, then he led you to your promised land. I hope you know,if tears could build a stairway, and memeories a lane, I'd walk right up to Heaven, and bring you home again.

I love your positive outlook even through your sadness...what a testimony to LIFE in the Hereafter.

The Lord took my dad home nearly 9 years ago. Though the sting isn't quite so bad these days, there are times it feels he was here just yesterday. When he passed there were 3 grandkids...today there are 9 grandkids and 1 great grand-dd. He would have loved being climbed on by all those kids. I sure do miss him.

But I know he believed...and we shall reunite once more in the hereafter.

Many hugs and friendly smiles to you and yours,
Love in Christ,
Gretchen
