That is so awful, I am so sorry, I can only imagine how i would react. The last couple of days has been filled with loss for so many on the site and I am sure that it all comes with the turf, but it's tough on the loving moma's that care for these babies. I hope that your weekend shapes out better for you and your family, and I wish you the best on finding a cover for your brooder.

Sometimes people get all defensive when we ask questions that may seem obvious. I'm not sure what a tack room looks like and sometimes others may see or notice something others don't. Not that anyone was offended. Just a thought. Can't really say what will or won't work but sometimes "brain storming" brings an idea no one would have thought.
We are all in this together, right?
