I love Ideal poultry

I've had a great experience with Ideal too - I got my chicks & ducks last week. They all made it here from Texas safe and sound, and in less than 24 hours! All beautiful, happy, & healthy babies! I would definitely order from them again.

I was super-pleased with them as well. This was my first flock this year and my first time ordering live animals from the internet

I live in Indiana & received all of my live & healthy chicks, all the way from Texas. They are now 6 wks old & are all doing great.

I'm very pleased I changed my order at least three times. And even offered up suggestions when my 1st choice was unavaible (sussex).
Everybody came heathly and happy and havent lost a single chick.

Ordered 12 chicks that arrived last Tuesday morning. All 12 of them arrived very healthy. The staff at Ideal Poultry was so helpful in informing me about delays. I had to wait a few weeks due to the popularity of Ameraucanas but they were well worth the weight. Shipping charges were reasonable as well. I will be ordering from them again.

I too have had great service from them and have ordered from them many times. I will continue to order from them. They not only have great service, but great looking birds. They come healthy and they grow in to very stunning and true to their breed birds.

Way to go Ideal!

Got my order last Friday. 29 in total. I got them on the second day. One passed, but the rest seem healthy so far. Just put them on shavings today, they went absolutely crazy. Very good temperaments, the Australorps are big and robust and so alert and friendly, they are first to make a dash to jump in my hand whenever I reach into the brooder. The buff Orps don't even complain when handled. In the excitement from the new litter a little Chantecler chirped until he nearly crowed, how cute! Ideal was great to deal with and the chicks seem to have good survivability so far.

My order from Ideal arrived April 24th, it took 2 days, instead of the normal one. Silkieluver_07 and I went in together on an order, I think our total was around 66 chicks. We ended up losing around 13 or so. 7 of my 36 didn't make it past day 3, mostly d'Uccles and both of my Silver Laced Cochins

The remaining ones were lively and healthy. The Australorps are way bigger than the others already. Overall I was happy with the order, it was just bad timing on shipping. They shipped during the only 2 days we had frost warnings here and the post office might have been at fault for the extra day they took to get here also.
