Love seeing all those roo pics. Nice to know I'm not the only who's nutty enough to like them enough to keep them around.
How do you manage it, when you have more than one? Mine fought. The one I have now beats up on my RIR, so I have to keep him separate from the hens. But he is so pretty, I can't part with him, ...yet.

I wanted to submit a pic of my roo "Sunny", but can't figure out how.

If you look at the FAQs, the first one is about how to post photos.
Well, I have 4 currently, and only 10 hens, so it probably won't work, hence I am trying to find good homes for a few of them. There is a local farm market that keeps a bachelor pen of roos who will take them, but I wanted to see if anyone here wants them to let them "do as roosters should do" before going to the bachelors.

I love this thread! I too love roos. I think they are just wonderful the way they protect their flock and my Lt. Colonel Bok Bok is just the sweetest thing. He looks mean but he won't mess with you if you don't mess with his girls. He finds them treats, warns them when he sees a hawk and cuddles with them at night. I went in the hen house one night to do the usual head count and there he was with a RIR pullet under his wing holding her tight. So cute!!!
