Hope everything goes well! What types of chicks do you have?
X2, I don't like to go above 65%
So I went to check on the incubator, I found that the one that had pipped had hatched. I was positive that none of the others had pipped, so I opened it to candle the eggs. None of the air cells had been pipped. So I have a lone chick in the incubator. It is day 21 today, I will leave the incubator running until day 25, then I am giving up on them.
Still early..No need to panic yet. Provide a mirror for single chick in the Brooder. It will be okay a couple of days alone. Stop opening incubator to Candle..Remove the hatched to Brooder and Lockdown.
Can you get a photo or two of an unhatched egg.
Shine the light in the air cell while taking the picture.
I have Buff Orpington, Light Brahma, Leghorn, and Millie Fleur. The one that hatched was a Leghorn
I will get a pic soon
Buff Orpingtons are my favorites! I just recently moved 4 Millie Fluer D’uccles out to their new coop!
Hope everything goes well!
Very bummed, still no air cell pip, here is a picture......
I've been hatching d'Uccle Mile Fleurs for a while, and in my experience the take a day longer.
