I may have poisoned some of my birds by accident😬😨.

Hello, I would like to know if I should stock up on some activated Charcoal? If so should I get a container of it, or the capsules?

I was feeding the birds, & I got to the bottom of the bag, & was dumping the rest in the other bag to not waste it like I do normally, & that's realized I may have added moldy feed to the feeder by accident.

I removed the moldy stuff from the bag.

What should I do? Monitor them for symptoms of mycotoxicosis?


I hope I didn't add any of the moldy food to the feeder.

I pick out any clumps. Anything else gets eaten

Dispose the feed in the feeder, clean the feeder and replace with fresh feed.

Remove all the food, clean the feeder, and replace with clean food. It may waste some but better to be sure.

I'm not sure what you mean by already home but I would still replace all the food.

I keep my birds at my grandpa's place on ten acres.

I'm home at a separate house.
