I miss the old BST

I don't know what it is but since the BST section changed I cant seem to sell anything anymore.
And I admit I don't stalk it like I used to either.

Is it just me?

No, I don't think it is just you. I am not a regular shopper there anymore, and I see less eggs being offered than before. I want some beautiful Am eggs, but I either miss the opportunity or they are just not being offered. That being said, I better go check.

Change isn't always easy, but sometimes it is necessary.

The new format helped us meet the needs of our growing community. Transactions are now smoother and members can utilize our feedback system much more easily. Sales ads cannot be bumped anymore which means that selling items is more equal-opportunity for all our members. That said, we do appreciate constructive feedback. If you have ideas for how to make the new system better, feel free to send them to [email protected].

One thing to remember is that winter is the "slow" sales season, so it wouldn't be too surprising if your sales fell off a bit over the winter. Now that spring is here, it should be easier to sell chicks and eggs (if that is what you're offering for sale).

If you're looking to buy a particular breed, I'd suggest checking the BYC Breeders' List and sending someone a PM to ask if they have any chicks or birds available.

Have the admin come any closer to figuring out how to do the crazy 24 hour acution thread again? How about if it was in its own sub forum, all by its self, GFM only accessible.... would that work?

As stated above, the BSA system may seem less "active" but that is because:

1) Threads can't be bumped
2) Spamming isn't allowed (same listing posted hundreds of times)
3) Closed listing are archived
4) Spring / busy season is still starting to build up
