I miss them!!!

Well dances with ducks, it is a little late and i was never going to clip their wings in the first place, i was always going to give them to my friend Bill, its just i didn't think it would be this early, my dad and i are going to pick up 3-4 2 week old WH tomorrow, so that will probably fill the void, and when i went over today to the pond where i released them(its a privately owned pond by my friend) They were both on land eating weeds, and having a good time, i just cant wait to see them greet their brothers in a couple of weeks! I'm ceeping 2 muscovy girls (Bubbles and Trudy) and then im getting the WH and i have BigMomma my pekin!)

That's great to hear! I'm sure they're going to be fine and, at least, Bill will let you visit them, too.

I know i think it turned out pretty good, although today we say a 3 foot gator in his pond... O.O

Yep, 1 male pekin, 2 female muscovy, and hopefully 3 female WH and 1 male WH, i also wanted to get some runners but i think they are loud...

Well, I just called Mr. Bill because its his birthday and I just wanted to say Happy Birthday. Well after I talked to him, he mentioned that my ducks had stayed at his pond! They didn't even fly or walk away!! I'm so happy, and he said he thought they wouldn't ever leave!! So I think that I did something good by letting my ducks have a better life on the pond!

i have 7 scovies and their all flying now buyt they just fly around my property and sometimes further but they are allways back within 3 to 4 minutes

Well my problem is that i have a canal literally 6 inches from the pen and i have no netting on top and i was going to let them go i just wasnt expecting it to happen that fast, and they still are on his pond, but the boys are not getting their wings, i dont know whats the problem the 2 girls have them and i just clipped theyr wings, but the boys im thinking are from a different flock, and if mine did fly away, rite down the canal is a wildlife preserve thats all marsh forest andcreeks, of coarse brakish water, put still its like a duck paradise, so if they got over there there would be no coming back, they woldnt need my food, because of all the slow fish grass bugs and such over there...so i dont think i would do that...
