View attachment 1456802 This is my duck and turkey houses. They roam free in my backyard and only sleep in there houses at night. I got my playhouses for cheap or traded them for some of my chicken eggs. I have 8 ducks that sleep in the log house.

That's what I did. I set mine on a pallet though looks like yours is on the ground?

Hehe. That thought bubble was pointing to where the roof is vented. also, the plastic is not on the Windows for more ventilation - in case anyone is wondering.

I need to put mine on pallets. But we did nail boards underneath to keep predators out. So far it has worked.

On top openings and the door is hardware cloth.....for ventilation.

So if there is no roof or tarp etc over the hoop coop in summer they just get rained on? How about where they lay their eggs?

I have a dogloo in mine that they lay in though they also lay them all over and bury them with straw... or out by the creek. I just think of it as an Easter egg hunt - every day!
