I need help/advice. I’m at a loss at how to help my hens!

It can be a few weeks to a few months, depending on whether it is a "hard" molt or a "soft" molt. Though I'm not positive that's what's going on with your chickens. I'll repeat: Have you noticed an abundance of loose feathers in the coop and run?
There are some but not what I would consider an abundance. Maybe 4 or 5 feathers. I have 15 chickens.

I have a buff Orpington that is broody and there a lot of her feathers & down in one of the nesting boxes. This just started 2 days ago and now I’m trying to figure out how to snap her out of it because I don’t have a rooster so those eggs won’t be hatching! Everything seems to happen all at once! 😕

There are several threads on this site about how to break a broody hen. Do a search for "broody breaker" or "how to break a broody hen." I don't know much about it myself.

As for what's going on with the feather loss...... I'm sorry, beats me. Hopefully others will chime in with their suggestions.

I think there's a jerk or two picking the others but the feathers won't grow back until the molt.
It seems everything has been treated so I think that's the only option left.
Their feathers won’t grow back until late fall or winter?? 😮 I don’t know much about molting, just that it’s different everywhere . I think. I just sat in the yard and watched my chickens and realized that I have 3 that look perfectly feathered and normal 😐 Should I take those 2 out and put them in chicken jail? If so, how long shoul I keep them separated? I didn’t see them picking on the others, I just noticed they look perfect. In other words, I didn’t witness the crime
