I need help please help!!

I have 5 Rhode Island Reds and one Cinnamon Queen I got them in March and April. I haven't had any real big problems with them but one of my Rhode Island Reds is starting to look kind of raggedy. She is eating and laying but not everyday. See pics!!

My other girls are doing just fine. Please help me to make my girl better!!

Click on forums tab above and go into the appropriate forum. t the top by the menu bar it should say new thread on the right. Click there and it should let you start a new one.

Looks like the hen is molting. When chickens molt they don’t eat or drink as much, hens sometimes stop laying completely, and they usually stand around looking ill. Hopefully she’ll feel better soon!

Welcome to activity here at BYC. As others have said she is molting. The addition of small amounts of protein supplementation may be helpful to her.
