i wasnt home yesterday, which was day 18 of my eggs. i read the instructions of my incubator and it said to take the turn table tray out on day 18. its day 19 ive got three eggs moving. im not sure how to turn it off manually. but you can adjust the time when it turns at the top. does anyone have this one. i have the time to turn every 999 minutes but i have to leave later and i dont want to take any chances.

Will you keep us updated on how the hatch goes? I've got that exact same incubator but chose not to use it as although it's rock solid on keeping the temp and humidity steady, double-checking with a couple of thermometers it looked like the temp was a couple of degrees low. However, since the Hova-bator is driving me bonkers with humidity fluctuations I may re-think my decision!

its going well. we had our first chick hatch yesterday morning she is the fiestiest chick i have ever seen, lots of movement from the others and one pipped around 8 pm last night but still nothing this morning. The temp and humidity have stayed very stable throughout this process. the only thing i would say about this incubator is that it was kinda hard to understand the instructions but this was my first time using one.

Just to let everyone know, it's not a problem if you stop turning the eggs on day 16 or 17.
It's also not a big deal if you stop turning late: last time I stopped turning on day 18 and had most pips on day 19.
