I need help

You can give your chickens treat,Just in moderation.
Of course you can.....I toss out an apple for a game of Chicken soccer......I toss out scratch under the trees as they free range.....I feed squash...I only do it once a week.....I call it Sunday, fun day.....All my animals get treats on Sunday....I am always home, no company and it is just the day I treat them...Horses eat apples and carrots, dogs get a chew bone and the Birds get a treat of veggies or scratch.....I have healthy happy animals......

Cheers!

Sometimes you may need to use a Poultry Dust or Permethrin spray to get rid of a lice/mite infestation.

DE can be helpful when used as a preventative in dust bathing areas, sprinkled in nesting boxes, etc., but an infestation may need further treatment.

Quote: Do you have a feed store like Tractor Supply? They carry Poultry Dust and/or Permethrin spray that you can use to treat mites/lice.

Clean out your coop (including nesting boxes) and treat the coop. Treat your whole flock as well. Read the label on the product you purchase, but generally you will need to re-treat the coop and your birds in 7 days to rid them of nits (eggs) that have hatched.

Here is more info for you:
