I need help.

I had a bunch of different peafowl together and just split them 10 days ago. How long must they stay separate before they will provide a pure breed of the ones that are now separated out? If they were not mates in the big pen will they mate with each other since there is just the 2 of them?

Could take up to 3 weeks before all pure color/patterns show. Until then it could be the matched bird who has fertilized or one of the other birds it was previously penned with.

Basic story is the closer to three weeks, the more chicks will be the pattern you want. Peacocks will generally mate anything, chicken, duck, hopefully the peahen
