I need help!!!!

My very sweet muscovy duck ( female) has a eye infection!! Her eye is closed up and very watery and kind of clear goo! We have no vets that know anything about muscovy ducks.. This has been going on for about 1 week.. Coop is clean, always have fresh swimming water and drinking.. I have tried salt water in the eye to clean it out, I have tried Vetericyn as well.. Sorry I don't have a pic I will try to get one... Advice or suggestions would be appreciated!!! Thank you so much!

I would continue to irrigate the eye with a saline solution. Are the other ducks pecking at it? Could she have gotten any dust or debris in there?

I agree with Kevin565. Some of these things take a while to clear up. Just maybe you could contact a vet and convince them that an eye is an eye, and get some opthalmic antibiotic ointment.

I would also give poultry vitamins once a week to boost her system.
