I need ideas for the clumsy non-crafty person

I about popped my ear drums doing a tiny "fart egg" for my granddaughter then a friend suggested using a big syringe to suck the egg out. I haven't tried it yet but I sure will next time I try to blow one out!

Where would one get one of those big syringes??

Vets might sell them--get the biggest "horse shot" size needle.

Or get a "flavor injector" at Walmart for about $4.

You can either suck the insides out, or blow air in to blow the insides out, with just one 1/4 inch size hole.

Somewhere on line I saw directions for making decorative picture frames using dyed pieces of eggshells. I bet you could make mosaic pictures also.

You can use those big horse needles to rinse those eggs with a little bleach and let them dry. On the Poly egg thread the guy tells ya how to dry them in the microwave.

I got mine with the kiddos medicine when they were younger. If you want, i could prolly send you a few. The kiddos are big enough now they don't need them nemore.
lol I forgot to warn you about the blowing the eardrum part. hehe or maybe it was subliminal. Noone told me, but I found out, also, you end up looking like a red blowfish. hehehe

If you do the bath salts....you can find citric acid at most asian grocery stores for much much less than you would pay at a craft store. Salt scrubs with honey are nice, as are ones with nice oils. Fancy oils can get expensive quickly, though. Epsom salts are very cheap, and with a little scent make great gifts.

Flavored vinegars are nice too. You would need to start those soon, as they take a little time. Fresh herbs, fruits, and vinegar are not expensive and all you need to do is find some pretty bottles to keep it in. I like basil and tarrogon vinegars, and any fruit vinegar makes a nice salad dressing.

Some of the homemade alcohol things are good too, if you do booze. Homemade kahlua is one I've tried.

Scrambled egg has a recipe for blueberry vodka.
She says it takes a month to ferment so if you want that, you need to get it started, otherwise, you're too late to give it, but hey, ya get to plaster yourself to the new year!

Are you wanting ideas for grown ups, kids, or something that you can do with the kids?
I have a recipe for salt dough, it's like play dough. well, remember that stuff that you could make plaques with, bake in the oven for a long time and then paint and give to the parents? yeah, that stuff.

Here is what I did last year for Christmas.

I made the corn bags that could either be stuck in the microwave or the freezer for hot/cold packs.

They are super dooper easy to make. Take flannel fabric (it feels the nicest up against you) and cut them into the size of squares that you want your bag. The size of a paperback book works the best. Sew 3 sides of it, fill with whole corn bought from the feed store and sew shut. I put herbal tea in some of them for extra aroma.
I have tried rice but the corn holds the heat/cold better.

The fabric can be almost anything, in our 4-H group used socks. and made fleece covers for them. I shop the leftover fabics at Walmart and the fabric stores and can pick up some cute remnents for CHEAP!! and a 50 lb bag of corn is less than $10. And 50 lb of corn makes A LOT of bags.
