hello. i am new to poultry. i have 2 scovy ducklings that are 4 weeks old and they're spoiled lol. i treat them as pets and let them inside and everything
. well i've had so much fun with them i've decided to try and hatch some chicken eggs with my rcom 20 that my uncle sent me (yes they are fertile). anyway, i know incubating chicken eggs require different temps and humidity than ducks. they take 21 days to hatch right? so my obvious questions are what is the best temp and humidity to incubate these chicken eggs at? i just recieved them today. i'm supposed to let them sit in room temp for a day after shipping right? also what day do they go into lockdown? any advice and info would be great! thanks
oh! i almost forgot. can chicken eggs be incubated on their sides like duck eggs or do they have to be standing up?
