I need some advice for chicken with Respiratory infection

Unfortunately, it could be any number of respiratory diseases, some of which are impossible to tell apart aside from laboratory diagnostics. Give it a very thorough exam, check her skin, comb color, inside its mouth, everything you can think to check and add any more details. What does its poop look like, is it making funny sounds, etc.
For the last two weeks it was only sneezing but now I can hear crackles when it’s breathing and it seems to smack a lot.
The comb color and the color around the eyes changes from red to pink to almost white and back to red and pink.
The skin is grayish. This one is a Silkie x Cochin and I think they have this skin color but I’m not sure.
The poop looks normal and it is eating and drinking. As soon as I come to the chicken, it jumps on my lap and loves to cuddle ❤️

Have you ever seen a respiratory disease with symptoms in your flock before? When you bring a chicken into an existing flock, there is always a chance that you can introduce a disease. With these symptoms you could be seeing MG, a chronic respiratory disease. It is not cured with any medicines. You may see an improvement of symptoms with medication or time, but they are carriers for life. If you keep them, and I would not recommend that, I would close my flock. No birds in, no birds out, until all are gone. Here is some info:

It was sneezing and had bubbles on his nose.

At first it seemed to get better but then it started to have trouble breathing.
I bought Amoxicillin 500 mg at a feed store and I was told to resolve the capsule in one gallon of water. Within 24 hours the chicken looked so much better but was still sneezing.
Today I recognized bubbles in one of his eyes 😔
I still have one Amoxicillin 500 mg capsule.
Does it sound right to you to resolve the capsule in one Gallon of water?
Hard to know what she has without testing.
As others have mentioned, you may be able to treat symptoms, but it sounds like you are dealing with a respiratory disease which she may be a carrier of for life.

If your goal is to treat the symptoms you describe, then I would treat for Mycoplasma (MG). Tylosin/Tylan would be a better choice to use than Amoxicillin.
Amoxicillin is not that effective against most respiratory illnesses, especially MG since it has no cell wall.
You can order Tylosin/Tylan online or your TSC may have it. Let us know what you find.

And for clarification on Amoxicillin dosing, it's 57mg per pound of weight give orally twice a day for 10-14 days.
If you want to continue with the Amoxicillin just because you have that on hand, I can help with the dose on that too if you wish.

All my chickens are very well and healthy it is just the new chicken who is sick 😔
And like I mentioned earlier in my post, the new chicken is still in quarantine since day one.
It just breaks my heart to see this poor thing sick. It is like a pet and loves to be hold and jumps in my lap as soon as I get close ❤️

I will read what you sent me per link and I will go to a vet as soon as I can 🙏

I will go to a vet ASAP but I can’t go before next week 😔
Thank you very much for your answer, it helps a lot 🙏
