One of my pet roosters has an eye injury, I think he may have lost his eye. I can't afford to take him to the vet, but I need to know what I should do. Poor thing. He's so pittiful.

Another rooster has frost bite on his comb.

What should I do in these two sperate cases. I am considering baby asprin for them, but I want to be 100% sure it will help so I do not stress them too much.

Hi and welcome to BYC. I am going to contact a moderator for you and ask that your thread be moved to the emergencies section where you'll likely find more help.
I hope the best for your roo.

For an eye injury rinse the eye area with saline, better if it has boric acid in it, and clean it the best you can. Apply some neosporian, the type w/o pain killer anything with caine in it, to the eye and around it. I believe dose for aspirin is 3-5 baby aspirin to a gallon of water. I would apply the same ointment to the one with the problem comb.
Make sure the one with an eye problem does not develop any other symptoms, as a puss or watery eye could be a sign of a respitory illness developing.
