So she/he loves kitten chow! Everytime i put some in, she/he jumps in the bowl wiggling amd scratches all of it out. She/he loves dustbathing in food, but not in the sand.

also, the balance problem and runny poop is gone.

I will stop "diddling around" (

) but I need to order the GBS. I'm just gonna order some from amazon. And I've read around, kitten kibble is a good supplement food for chicks. I'm also giving it mealworms, eggs (with shells), sand, and I'm trying greens but not showing much interest in kale.

oh well. I'm also ordering a bird cage for the quail. About 10"x12"x15". Is that big enough? Oh and feed cups and stuff are included, could I use those too?
Edit: it's actually a blue ribbon square style roof cage. Measurements are 11"x14"x15". So is that good? It'll probly be hanging somewhere. And if it's a wire floor I'm putting sand/newspaper on the tray. If it's not wire or if I just want bedding, I'll put some aspen shavings or sand in. Dunno where to get sand in less than 25lbs bags

Edit 2: the sq ft of the cage is .924 (lets just round it to 1 sq ft lol).
Edit 3: I swear this is the last edit! Lol. I was gonna put some vinca minor (a groundcover) in some type of low pot under/next to the watering thingie so it gets some water from spillage soaked up. Smart eh? Not... And also a nesting spot with a "bower" thingie of branches will end up in there somehow. I really wanted a grassy kind of thing, but I don't get enough light where the cage is.
