I need to kill my roo and i cant do it

Pics
He would have a quality of life running in a pen could make the pen as big as possible give him a hen or 2 to satisfy his needs... I’m just sick of people saying “aggressive roosters need to be killed” no they don’t... would you put a child down because it has aggressive behaviour due to health issues no you wouldn’t do why put a rooster down what because it’s not human because it can’t talk it can’t “fight back” it has no say what you do it.. it can’t tell you why it’s aggressive... I’m sorry but killing something because it shows “unwanted behaviour” is not a justifiable reason.
And if my dog mauls your kid....

I don't treat my child like my animals, period. There is no comparison there.

This is not a human. The analogy is inappropriate.
I didn't make the analogy. I was simply saying that just because someone dispatches a rooster for aggressiveness, they wouldn't act the same if it was their child. I think we're on the same side here.

Edited to add that it was poultry mum that made the analogy.

I do not agree with that as it's simply silly

i have raised all my roos from chicks so they all know me well. have you tried restraining him? dont run away when he attacks, he will begin to think he has power over you, which is very dangerous when it comes to roos.

instead run at him and just kick him, sounds brutal but he needs to know who the real alpha is if he dosent wanna become the all new kfc next week

that video should give some tips on how to domesticate an aggressive rooster

also remember that all roos are territorial. my roo koa which is my baby i have him for over a year now from when he was a chick has attacked me before, only once tho

koa attacks anybody else but me so that proves that they feel emotions

and at the end of the day remember that the roo dosent want to hate you, he is just defending his girls. also remember that if he is that aggressive he would make fantastic for hawk and coyote repellant when the girls free range
