I need to say a 4 letter word...

If the dumb pullet that I had to rescue from 8 inches of wet snow after tumbling down the bank, into the run, on my fanny, none too gracefully, EVER gets into another ounce of trouble, she is stew meat.
I made DH mark her with zip ties before I put her back into the coop. She crossed the line and I am too old for THAT!

No wildfire has ever burned down my house, no earthquake has ever rendered us homeless, no mudslide has ever ruined my home. I can easily live with what CA has to offer and take my shakes and heat and water. Tornados? NO THANK YOU!

It was 78 today and not a cloud in the sky. It was GORGEOUS here today!

This farm has been in existence (and in my husbands family) since Civil War times. Not a single tornado. We don't live in tornado alley, we live in dixie alley, there's a difference.

I know you don't. My post was for those fearful of earthquakes, and your post gave me more ammo. I think Arkansas would be a really nice place to live. It is gorgeous there. SOOOO many people freak about earthquakes, and they are just not that bad. Some, rarely, are bad. But for the most part, they are a foot massage and reason to order out for Chinese while watching the news.
