Splash laced red wyandottes are not a different breed than blue laced red wyandottes. It’s a different variety (color). The way hatcheries breed blue laced reds also produces splash laced reds and black laced reds. Your other wyandotte appears to be a light blue laced red.

Really I didn’t know that! It’s interesting how breeds can come in so many different varieties of color!😁
