Hi! I’m sorry but I think they’re both the same breed! We ordered them from Murray McMurray a year ago and they are the exact same! The lighting is just a bit wonky one the first one! But thanks for informing me! I didn’t even know that breed until you said something!

Splash laced red wyandottes are not a different breed than blue laced red wyandottes. It’s a different variety (color). The way hatcheries breed blue laced reds also produces splash laced reds and black laced reds. Your other wyandotte appears to be a light blue laced red.

Really I didn’t know that! It’s interesting how breeds can come in so many different varieties of color!
