can the duckling catch a cold by being in the water?

Ducklings just need to be kept pretty warm and when they get all wet in the water it can chill them so they are not as warm as they have to be. It's important to dry them off after every time you take them for a swim. Ducklings in the wild get oil from their mother that makes them waterproof, but since your ducks have no mommy duck it is not the same.
