Well your a good neighbor lol the people who were up all night shooting the fireworks are now sleeping in while the rest of us have to get up and clean up there mess.

Fireworks are illegal in oregon. What a laugh. All night long most of the neighbors are shooting off earth shaking huge fire works. There is no let up. Each neighbor tries to outdo every other neighbor in number and loudness of fireworks. The police drive right people shooting off these illegal fireworks and ignore them. I love the cookouts and pic-nics with family and friends and the parades but greatly dislike the loud, illegal fireworks. I pray for rain every 4th but it only seems to rain when you don't want it to. So I spend a lot of time hosing down my roof and yard before the fireworks start. Usually there isn't any wind and the stinking smoke hangs in the air all night. Bah humbug !

"And seizing illegal fireworks for their own 4th, tomorrow!" I think they sell the illegal stuff to people who had to work that night, like nurses, waiters and police/fire/911 operators.

I love the smell of noise and mayhem myself. Fireworks are illegal here (flying and or exploding ones) So every border crossing going to Alabama accomodates Floridians seeking to be noisy and illegal.
Reminds me of our National Anthem..........."through the rockets red glare" and all.
