I only want to order 3-4 chicks. What are my options?

I have been web searching for hours. I'm starting to get frustrated. I want egg layers and I want 3-4 DIFFERENT chicks. My preferences are buff and barred feathers (assortment) and it would be great if I could get a silkie too.

Mypetchicken.com lets you calculate your minimum order (mine for Waynesboro PA was either 4 LF, 6 Bantams OR 5 LF/Bantam mix) and you can mix and match your orders!

Thanks! I think I've read that mypetchicken gets their chicks from Meyer. I'd like to use Meyer, but they currently aren't selling Silkies.

You might try Estes Hatchery in Mo. They will ship smaller lots. We got our silkie from there. I would suggest calling them and seeing if they are currently shipping.

There is a member on here (rockinpaints) that has a hatchery called the Fancy Chick. I have ordered from her a couple of times and her minimum order is 5. You might want to check with her. She has nice stock.
