I placed my order to Ideal!

I just placed an order with Ideal now. I've never done this before. How does it work from here?
I will pick them up at the post office, right?
I am so scared. I only have space for 5 chickens. I hope they stay warm enough.

I have about 60 chicks coming from Ideal on Feb. 25
Frizzles, Silkies, EE, Old English, Phoenix and some cuckoo marans

I am going to be ordering some to arrive next week! Can't wait!!! Still need to decide what to order, but it'll be all pullets except maybe one blue hamburg cockerel.

ETA: I just bit the bullet and ordered. Wish I'd done it last night since the marans that I was going to order are now sold out. :-( This is what I got.

Silver Laced Wyandotte, Pullet x4

Ameraucanas , Pullet x3

California White, Pullet x3

Was just looking for some layers to run around the yard, basically. I wanted to get something locally, but no one starts selling until March and I needed them sooner so I can grow them out more before baby arrives.

After placing my order they called and said 5 chicks wouldn't survive transit so I cancelled my order. Oh well.
Waiting for Meyers or MPC to update their websites now...

OMG...I have 30 coming from Ideal on the 25th...I got an odd bunch just for color and variety...
5 each pullets only:
Gold Campines
Buff Leghorns
Columbian Wyandottes
Buff Catalanas
Black White Faced Spanish
Mottled Javas

I have never seen any of these on the hoof so I am kind of excited...I want more of other kinds as I am totally addicted...I am toast...
I have 3 Cochins, 3 Brown Leghorns, 1 White Rock, 1 Partirdge Rock, 2 Barred Rocks, 5 EEs, 1 Cuckoo Maran, 1 RR, 2 Black Austrolorps, 1 Black Sex Link...

And then there is Ike, the Silver Laced Polish and a couple other roos of the previous breeds...I love them all...they are pretty, funny, fascinating...looking forward to the new group...I think I will have to quit for now...

I am dreaming of setting up another coop as I really want all of the colors of the bantum Cochins...and maybe some Brahmas and some Frizzles and Salmon Faverolles...oh Lord...stop me!!!!

Ideal 236 is a leghorn hybrid that Ideal has bred. They say that it is supposed to be the best layer they sell, with good longevity. I figured I would throw some white egg layers into the mix.
