My girls listened to melodic death metal while in the brooder. They are all friendly hens now but I wonder if their love of yelling had anything to do with how they were brought up

Heh, sounds like your girls got themselves a rockin’ start in life! Melodic death metal in the brooder - that’s one way to raise ’em tough and loud. I reckon that kind of ruckus helped build their confidence and fire. lololol Maybe that’s why they’re so friendly yet got a bit of sass and yellin in em. Every flock’s got its own soundtrack, and yours sure came with a beat. Just keep the volume up and the love rollin on, and those hens will keep strutting and swaggering like the rockstars they are!

My tiny flock likes country. Waylon on through Chris Stapleton. But then switch it and they like Offenbach and Strauss. My cat he likes 80s LULZ. Dog's gone again so who knows what he likes. Chickens also love it when you sing for them...
