Icepaw looked up at Galefeather and muttered, “Thank you.” He rested his head on the ground again and caught a glance of his sisters face. She was staring at Galefeather with an unreadable expression.Feeling that the steady movements of her tongue on his pelt was comforting Icepaw, she kept licking him. She felt a bit awkward, but if it was making him feel more comfortable and happier, she would keep it up.
Flamepaw was watching her brother fall for a warrior. Thank goodness it wasn’t Nightpaw. I’d never hear the end of that. She stood up and walked back to Rustpaw, touching his fur with her nose.
