Dropspring heard him say this, then watched through the den entrance. There was no way she was just leaving. He would wait until she got far enough, then sneak out. Fallingrain couldn't walk in the warriors den and bail him this time. He wasn't his babysitter.“Thank you, I’m leaving now. Goodbye.”
Dropspring snuck stealthily behind her, around out back of camp. He rustled the leaves beneath his feet, but clear of his clanmates, he didn't care if he was heard.Flamepaw turned and snuck out of camp. She ran for the exit of the forest.
"I told you I would come," Dropspring said. "Why do you hate me so much? Even if you weren't sneaking off by yourself, I still would ask you."Flamepaw followed a scent trail to a barn. She slept here, the thought crossed her mind and she curled into the makeshift nest she had left.
“Uuuugggghhh you followed me. I’m sorry for yelling at you. I hope we can get along and find Emberfeather. I don’t hate you by the way that was emotion speaking.”"I told you I would come," Dropspring said. "Why do you hate me so much? Even if you weren't sneaking off by yourself, I still would ask you."
Dropspring nodded. "Emotion can do that, I get it. I forgive you." He paused and studied her flame colored pelt, matching his own. He wasn't attractive though, he was your average slinky, skinny, scruffy tomcat.“Uuuugggghhh you followed me. I’m sorry for yelling at you. I hope we can get along and find Emberfeather. I don’t hate you by the way that was emotion speaking.”
“Thank you, lets get some sleep. We have a long day of walking ahead of us.”Dropspring nodded. "Emotion can do that, I get it. I forgive you." He paused and studied her flame colored pelt, matching his own. He wasn't attractive though, he was your average slinky, skinny, scruffy tomcat.
"I just want to make sure you come back ok. I don't want you... another cat, to disappear. I want to make sure you and those kits have their mother back."
Icepaw half limped half dragged himself over to Honeycloud. “Can you look at my wounds please?”Honeycloud glanced at the medicine den. Dropspring wasn't there anymore.
This was her chance to do what she'd always wanted to, even if not for more than a moment.
